I am a small Breeder located in North Central Illinois. I have owned shorthairs for over 30 years. I participate in AKC conformation shows and hunt tests. I believe very strongly to adhere to the AKC breed standard. I believe in the Dual type shorthair. That is "A dog should hunt as good as he looks and look as good as he hunts", yet has the temperament to live in your home and be a part of your family.
